All presidents except Putin are formally welcomed
He was the strongest among them, but no one got him. Warlord Putin was publicly humiliated when he arrived at a regional summit in Turkmenistan. No one congratulated him, not a single person stood in line.

Trying to put a good face on a bad game. Russian President Vladimir Putin, 69, knows exactly what’s going on here: Putin traveled to Central Asian Turkmenistan on Wednesday for a summit of countries bordering the Caspian Sea. And practically left there.
Putin last traveled abroad in early February for the opening of the Winter Olympics in Beijing. After a short trip to Tajikistan on Tuesday, Putin met in the Turkmen capital of Ashgabat on Wednesday.
He was not accorded the usual respect there. Instead, I had to walk alone to the waiting limousine. This is highly unusual for the head of a world power.
Nobody got Putin
“Participants of the Caspian summit were welcomed at the arch with bread and salt,” East European news portal “Nexta” wrote on Twitter and showed the video collection. “No one has met Putin.”
Bread and salt is a traditional welcome gift for guests. No respect for Putin. Not a single person stood guard. A Russian president alone in the open. The scene is uncomfortable for him and he rushes off.
Footage shows Putin briskly walking towards a limousine. His right arm hangs down and his left arm swings on the step. Before getting into the limousine, he casually throws out his jacket. When entourage gathers in such situations, at least the car door is opened for the powerful man. (case)
