Putin’s forces stormed the center of Vinnytsia in western Ukraine on Thursday. 23 people including 3 children were killed in the rocket attack.
Four-year-old Lisa was among the victims. The girl was in the city with her mother Irina T.* (33) when the rocket hit.
D. He had uploaded a video on his Instagram story an hour and a half ago. You can see little Lisa pushing her own stroller as the two go to the speech therapist. “Where are we going dear?” Mother asks. “To Allah?” Mother asks again. The woman nods in agreement.
“I’m an Angel’s Mother”
As other posts in the woman’s account show, the girl’s speech therapist, who suffers from Down syndrome and is unable to speak, is Alla. On the way back from a speech therapy session, the Russian army attacked.
Irina D. She regularly posts photos and videos of her daughter and shares parenting tips with her more than 70,000 followers on Instagram. Her autobiography stated: “I am an angel’s mother”.
After news of the girl’s death, Olena Zelenska, 44, the wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, 44, wrote on Twitter that she knew Lisa. The first lady shared a Christmas video of the two together.
“We met when we were shooting a video for the Christmas holidays. The little girl drew herself, not just her dress, but all the other children, me, the cameramen and the director all in half an hour.”
The mother survives with serious injuries
The Rescue Service of Ukraine posted pictures on its Facebook page after the attack on the city. A destroyed stroller can also be found in the logs. It must be the car Lisa pushes in front of her in the video. Another picture shows a similar stroller. A severed leg lies beside him.
It is not known whether it is the foot of the mother. As an NGO called “Down Syndrome”. Facebook writes, the mother survived the attack with serious injuries and no loss of limbs. “You were in the wrong place at the wrong time,” the NGO wrote at a funeral.
Irina D. Lived in Kiev before the war. At the end of February, he moved with Lisa to his mother in Vinnytsia.
In March, she wrote under her daughter’s photo that she hasn’t been able to throw a normal birthday party for her little one for three years — first because of the corona quarantine and now because of the war. “All hope is her anniversary, Lisa’s fifth birthday!” That hope has now been dashed by missile strikes.
