Many of the pets trapped by volcanoes on the volcanic island of La Palma have been delivered from the air for days. The two companies use the drone to bring food and water to the animals every day, the island administration said Tuesday. To this end, the electronics company Ticom Solutions and the tour operator are to be thanked by the Volcanic Life Island government, stressed the Commissioner of Safety and Emergency, Neves Rosa Arroyo.
The animals, including the white cat, were discovered five days ago by a drone with a camera, among others, in an empty water basin. The land cannot be reached by the very hot volcanoes that surround them.
The volcano south of La Palma Island is less visible to tourists than other Canary Islands such as Tenerife, Fர்டrtventura, Gran Canaria or Lanzarote, which erupted on September 19 for the first time in 50 years. According to official reports, the lava destroyed more than 1,000 buildings. About 6,000 people were brought to safety. On Tuesday, another 800 people were forced to flee their homes as the volcano approached. Experts could not say how long the volcano will be active. It could take weeks or months, it said.
