During his tenure as Chief Counsel
Trump’s son-in-law Kushner has cancer
Ivanka Trump’s husband Jared Kushner has opened up about his cancer diagnosis. Former President Donald Trump’s nephew has thyroid cancer.
Jared Kushner (41), husband of Donald Trump’s (76) daughter Ivanka (40), was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. This was during his tenure as Chief Adviser to the former President.
According to consistent media reports, Kushner is now revealing this in his autobiography, “Breaking History: A White House Memoir,” which will be released soon. He says he was diagnosed by Trump’s personal physician in 2019 while traveling on Air Force One, the presidential plane.
Kushner found out about cancer on Air Force One
The doctor told him, βIt looks like you have cancer. The operation should start immediately,” he said. Kushner kept the illness a secret. In the presence of his wife and his father Donald Trump. Kushner told the Trump doctor, “Please don’t tell anyone β especially my wife and father-in-law.”
After all, it was Kushner who inaugurated his wife, Ivanka Trump, but not the then-president. The surgery took place just before Thanksgiving in November 2019. A “substantial portion” of his thyroid was removed and he is now doing well.
Trump knew against Kushner’s wishes
However, former President Trump was apparently informed of Kushner’s illness against his wishes. A day before the surgery, Trump called his son-in-law into the Oval Office. He said: I am the President. I know everything. I understand that you wish to keep this matter confidential. I want to keep things like this to myself.β (eu)
