“I wanted to take a puff of my e-cigarette, but nothing came. I found it strange. So I tried again and it blew up,” Britt, who wants to be known only as Paul, tells “The Northern Echo” newspaper.
After the shock, the 39-year-old realized what had happened. “There was a lot of blood everywhere and my mouth was so mangled I couldn’t tell if there was a hole in my brain.” For a moment he thought he might die.
He threatened to suffocate
Of course, the explosion not only destroyed his teeth, but also caused his tongue to swell. He threatened to suffocate. “My tongue was severely damaged. One side was very swollen and it was difficult to swallow.” That’s why Paul was taken from the first hospital where he was admitted to a specialist hospital.
In the explosion, Briton lost three teeth at once. They literally blew out of your mouth. The other four teeth were so badly damaged that they also had to be replaced. Paul now receives seven implants.

He believes the explosion was caused by a battery from China. Paul had heard of such incidents, but never believed it would happen to him. Now he is toying with the idea of suing the battery manufacturer.
Parts hit the Americans in the head
