In the office instead of in the intensive care unit
Zelensky denies rumors of a “serious illness”.
There are always rumors that Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin is ill. Currently, there are rumors that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is suffering from ill health. He answers directly and clearly.
Rumors of Vladimir Putin’s (69) serious illness have been circulating for a long time – and again and again. The Kremlin is reticent and does not comment on the president’s personal affairs.
News is now spreading that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is sick even in the intensive care unit of the hospital. The President of Ukraine has personally responded to this.
“Then I’ll be in the office”
“I wish you all good health. Russia today issued more fake news that President Zelensky is in hospital or in intensive care due to his poor health and is not running the government. So here I am in the office,” says Selanksi in a video message.
And: “I’ve never felt so healthy right now.” Several radio stations of the Ukrainian media company TAVR Media reported that Zelenskiy was seriously ill. But it was propaganda. The transmitter was previously hacked.
After a while, it was emphasized: “The information about the health of President Volodymyr Zelensky is false.” Russian hackers are suspected to be behind it.
Such statements are counted. Both Moscow and Kiev spread disinformation that cannot be independently verified. The goal is to demoralize the other side.
Putin has a cold
Russia too has now denied such rumors about its own head of state. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov (54) recently insisted: “Everything is fine with Putin’s health.” In this case, he has a cold.
This comes after Putin developed a cough during his visit to Iran. “He caught a slight cold during the visit as he was sitting directly under the air conditioner,” it said. Otherwise he is fine. (eu)
